Thread regarding Dunkin layoffs

I miss the old Dunkin

I used to love my job here. I used to feel like a valued employee who was respected for what he brought to the table. I used to have fun and joke around with my coworkers and even managers. All of that is a thing of the past now. We are no longer seen as valued employees but a cost to be cut. There is no respect for experience and knowledge. Nobody laughs anymore. Everybody is just looking to do their job and go home. Such a huge change in such a short time.

Maybe the OP really likes their job and is holding out hope for improvement. The grass is NOT always greener regardless of the disappointing changes. This negativity and calling people sheep is disrespectful.

Agreed.

Experience seems to not matter. People are scrambling to figure out how to plug the holes where someone else used to be. They didn't bother to assess the importance of the many positions they let go. Saving money is useless if the people who are left are spending twice as much time figuring out how to do things that weren't part of their own jobs.

Simple concept that eludes them.
