Is the Mandate pushed back to Jan 4 for Ford, based on updated federal dates.

The FDA has asked a federal judge to make the public wait until the year 2076 to disclose all of the data and information it relied upon to license Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.
I agree that things aren't looking good and "going Galt" is probably the best way to get through the unfolding financial disaster since there's no way it'll be avoided.
In the event of high inflation that runs for several years (or things collapse entirely) taking the penalty on a 401k cash-out at might not be as painful it looks on the surface. Using the gov'ts method in place in 1980 of calculating inflation we're now at 14% inflation, which exceeds the 10% early withdrawl penalty. Also to consider is if real inflation averages 8% over four years the initial value will have lost a 1/3 of it's purchasing power. Consideration if the market will survive four years and how long it might continue to grow until the next correction (10%+ drop) is left to the reader to ponder.
Get your house in order. Knew this sh*t was coming two years ago. Two weeks to flatten the curve. Two years to wear a mask, morphed into getting your shots.
You had time to prepare. Now their coming to collect.
In that timeframe, and you might still have a chance, get your affairs in order to sit out for months, years, or decades from their nonsense. You have a 401k? Upon your dismissal, it's distributed.
Let the corporations come crashing down, while you sit on the outside.
Eventually, they'll relent, or go bankrupt.
I don’t believe the 85% figure either. As of November 10 Vermont has the highest percentage of fully vaccinated at about 72%. Michigan is at 54%, nationally 59%. ( Becker’s Hospital Review from CDC data ). Someone is lying.
And in Vermont , new daily cases are up 49% in the past two weeks ( Yahoo News )
@2zuw+1dJQ3QqC - I didn't get/see the email either, however I did find the information in the Covid-19 FAQ off from the Life@Ford site. Actually a lot of stuff in that FAQ and worth taking a look at it to see what it says first hand.
I hear Ford employee's that disagree with the mandate are interviewing at other companies and will just leave. This is what Ford wants so why stay at a company that supports a totalitarian Government because they're receiving millions. Not buying Ford anymore.
From the November 5 update:
Why are most Ford U.S. salaried employees now being required to be vaccinated?
The science and data tell us the vaccines offer critical protection against COVID-19 and its variants and keep our global team safe. Additionally, Ford is a federal contractor, and so must comply with the vaccination mandate for federal contractors announced in September Federal Register: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. The majority of our salaried employees have some direct or indirect linkage to federal contracts. Regardless, Ford has made the decision to require vaccination for almost all of our salaried employees, regardless of whether they are covered under the federal contractor requirements.
Why are current employees at manufacturing facilities, parts depots, and Ford Motor Credit not yet required to be vaccinated by December 8, 2021?
Manufacturing facilities and depots are not currently included due to having product-based federal contracts under the federal contractor guidelines.
Funny, I never got an email, either. So will not believe it to I see it.
Then again with all the legal challenges ( and more every day) seems like someone someplace in Ford would have a bit of common sense to say let’s hold off firing people and/or putting them on unpaid leave only to have the entire mandate thingy blown up because it’s declared unconstitutional. Yeah, might be smart to see what happens first. This is not the the time to be first nor the hill to die of for Ford.
Or put another way, would be a lot cheaper to get rid of the 15% via involuntary job actions in Jan 2022 and pay the pittance in severance then fire them now and have hundreds or thousands of lawsuits due to unconstitutional firings.
Well , November 5 a Pfizer board member said the “ pandemic “ could be over by January …
Why the delay in the mandate date? Too many exceptions to process in time? Bill backing off on the woke? Talent drain danger if they fire all the dissenters? GM and Stellantis not following Ford's lead on woke mandates and leaving Ford on its own?
The piece they left out was "of those who reported." From this context it could very well be 85%.
The latest email says “ vast majority “ have been vaccinated
Amusing Kierstain gets top billing over the Dr…
@1puq+1dJQ3QqC Incorrect, it’s not fake news. The email came out this afternoon announcing the push back to Jan to those affected.
Fake news. There is no email on the Dec 8 date.
Knowing Ford HR, if they do push back the Dec 8 compliance requirement, they will not tell us until Dec 7 what that new date will be.
It’s being pushed back per email that just came out.
I love how they keep reiterating that 85% of the salaried workforce is already vaccinated. I don’t believe that for a second.
I wonder when Bill will remake the old Coke “I’d like to teach the world to sing “ commercial. If he hurries there’s still time to get the Christmas version in for extra meaning, a new savior is born.
I hope the hourly guys do push back and at least make it uncomfortable for a while but the leadership will probably sell them out in the end.
With a deadline of December 8 and the window to meet it closing , it’s funny nothing has come from GM or Stellantis yet. But it’s nice to know we’re in the same class as Mercedes USA !
What website do they hang on?
I wonder when Bill will invite Greta here to give a speech at Ford Field , attendance mandatory
I signed up and attended almost all of the DEI initiatives and training this year. Shouldnt I get some kind of extra credit and a deferment or exemption on the mandate date for that? Seems fair to me.
I was surprised (and pleased) reading a discussion about mandates on another website Ford hourly employees hang out at. A small sample size but they are none too happy about mandates or Brandon.
I wish them success if the UAW fights back even if it won’t help salaried employees.
They just signed a federal contract for $8.6 billion ( another coincidence , requires mandatory vaccination )
No change in policy as of November 5
Meanwhile MSU canned employees who refused the jab, and suspended students who refused the jab.
Just a matter of time before woke Ford does the same with salaried.
No the vaccine mandate for Ford has not been pushed back from December yet.
All quiet , so you know the S will be hitting the fan as soon as the BEV contract is signed.
