Vaccine Mandate - time to get VAX'd or lose job w/o severance pkg?

How is NM going to handle the Federal / OSHA vaccine mandate? January 4th is right around the corner. I don't think the new mandate will allow working from home as being in compliance. Anyone with a brain new this was coming when only 58% of the US population is vaccinated. The last I heard NM is only around 50% vaccinated.

Will NM go with the 'testing' option which would cost both the employer and the employee more in health insurance premiums?
How will vaccinated employees feel about working with unvaccinated employees?
A way to get rid of more employee's and bring in new at lower salaries?

The January 4th deadline makes vaccination a requirement. There is no guarantee NM will go with the testing option. It will be costly for everyone. Watch for the push back. Since when do you believe what this company says one minute will be the same the next?

Great news (actually not, as I assume you don’t really work at NM). NM has repeatedly stated vaccination will not be required. Vaccination is not a mandate, as testing remains an option in the workplace.

If you are vax'd you have nothing to worry about. It's safe and effective, right?
