They have eliminated IPI and replaced with something that lacks transparency and is decided from the the very top. I don't have much faith in any merit raise. This company is toxic.

You'll get that 1.385739383% raise since you're a Super Star, then be told 'You're lucky you got that - you should be very thankful - I had to really fight to get you that!!'

I heard that for my last 10-ish years at T.

They lowered the top of most salary ranges to eliminate raises in the future

you are surely talking about the raises for the executives, from avps up to Stinky. Everyone else below them is just an annoyance and a function to be moved to a cheap country in the next opportunity.
Mrs. Chow attitude sums it up, can not undo watching her display a total disdain for her employees - oh, wait, everyone else below her is just an obnoxious mouth they have to feed!

  1. 2% inflation so anything below that is a cut-in-pay, not a raise.

Don't look for anything to keep up with inflation. Gotta keep ya working harder. Most years it's a 3% budget at the Director level. So 1-2 at most for most. And all those in union get what's contracted.

1-2% maybe 3 if you’re lucky. Meanwhile the job market is paying about $40-60k more for my exact title and job externally. I’ve got 4 interviews this week. Market is hot. Unless you have a pension, you need to be shopping.

Wait a minute......you mean I'll get another raise on top of the $30k I received already?

Well I would hope due to inflation they would be about 5% for union craft titles, but that all depends on the new contract.

Stankey will get $5 million despite a 13% decline in the stock price. If he can get the stock price below $24 the BOD will probably give him an additional $2 million.

should be plenty left in the budget for huge merit with all the people leaving by the end of the year. My bet is standard merit 2.5%-3.0%.
