Thread regarding Pearson VUE layoffs

Is the 2nd increase happening? Haven't heard a peep about it since it was announced publicly in the town hall appreciation meeting. Hours have decreased more than normal for January, February and March in our center. My belief is that is to make up for the pay increase. Fewer hours at more pay is the same total payout as more hours at less pay.

This division does very well in the company yet the people who make that possible get squeezed mercilessly. The burger flipper comment above is accurate. Nothing wrong with the burger flippers themselves but the perception is that they are interchangeable and expendable. Every fast food place is seeing that turned out to be false. Pearson Vue Qualifications and Assessments should take notice.

The pay increase is nice but it’s going be negated by the cut in hours that we see early in the year. There’s no way to get ahead in these positions.

January increase will only take you from $14 to $15. They will go back on their statement which implied everyone. Again, it's because of federal contractor rates. Not because of being decent.

Did you get the increase? Even though publicly said in the Town Hall not all centers did. All center went up to at least $14 but that's because being a federal contractor required it.
Latest paycheck should have the increase if there is one.
