LOA for a illness

My doctor told me to take an LOA but there is another associate in my department on leave and we are a small department . I feel bad leaving the department but I’m stuck in a limbo . Any suggestions? Thanks everyone

Your health is definitely more important than a company who could care less about their employees. Take care of yourself

The lead and manager can figure it out. That's what they're paid to do. Take your leave and don't worry about it. You have to take care of yourself first. Eventually everyone has to do something like that.

Your health is more important than your job, please listen to your doctor and go on LOA… if something were to happen to you your boss would replace you instantly so go on leave and let them find someone to do your job till you come back.

I understand you do not wish to hurt a fellow associate but... NOTHING about a corporation is worth more than your own well being or that of your family. Sure sacrifice a few minutes here or there or change your schedule now and then to accommodate but do not sacrifice you bodily well being !!!

Maybe it is a small department you're in,
but when a doctor advises, that should be irrelevant.
Unless you'd risk being in a small compartment - made of felt-lined wood, y'know.
I wouldn't sacrifice a rotten tooth for Sam's.
