Do ET or Security leadership have concerns about the talent exodus in their departments or not care? The people leaving are skilled experts that the company should retain and more talented than their “leaders” as a bonus.

They are good at buying fancy cars.
Only weak at the top.
ET is the weakest department in the entire organization.
I hear the beatings have begun. FLL and SLL are now being blamed for poor exec leadership and trust of dept.
Sheeet, we have talent in those departments? Hardly reflected in the product.
Too bad slido cant surface tough questions anonymously anymore. Some softballs fer sure
Yes. Very little energy and out touch. Check the box mentality
Department meeting today= bleh—-uninspired
I work under the new leadership and think it is excellent. They care about outcomes and find ways to develop me.
Wondet what DF says about this mess
What would it take to keep all those that left. Was it a revolt against exec leadership in IT, lack of future opportunities, pay, or wfh?
There are no opportunities at the exec level for the next decade. Squatters rights. Not even adding IT leaders to the LEDA program.
AVPs were eliminated in Systems to flatten org and elevate the existing. If there are any avps left in IT it is just residual from converging depts elsewhere. We need flatter structures and not more layers.
Where's everyone going? VMware, dell, Microsoft?
Another high profile exit today
Thanks Bubba.
hr is the problem with hiring....too focused on quotas and wokes.
Are we reintroducing ET AVP role. I see we have one in ET ?
Leaders need to do the actual work instead of being highly paid puppets and layers of layers of fluff telling everyone else to do the sorry work. Heiarchy stinks and not a good structure.
Gone on way too long. Waste of policyholder and company.
ET. Bad
Et is focused on maxxing out short term bonuses. Says something about how long execs plan on staying.
They dont care. Its all about numbers and MIP bonuses. Its funny a mutual company is supposed to take its profits and put back into the company to help reduce premiums and pay dividends to mutual cusotmers. There hasnt been any dividend checks ina long time. Yet in 2020 the mutual company netted over 2 billion while the workforce quit or retired without being replaced. A venomous work environment has been created by Executive leadership and the bean counter at the top. Mandatory OT…more more with less…while recording breaking growth……
ET has added a new level for software developers to get promoted to. Other roles might have similar changes?
HR is trying to help rentention. Anybodys guess how well it works.
We need great leader and great associates. Retention is the biggest priority to achieve our goals.
Hey friend, welcome to the claims environment!
