Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

I have always been overwhelmed

It’s funny to me when people suddenly complain that they’re overwhelmed with work here, because I’ve been overwhelmed ever since I came here more than 10 years ago. The only thing is that I love my job so I didn’t complain much about the amount of work. Didn't Schwab always overwhelm people with work? I wouldn’t say it’s something new.

Being overwhelmed with work for ten years and still thinking it’s a good place to work is definitely a unique opinion. Glad I got laid off and have a much better job job the industry.

Left Les 4 years ago. Best decision of my career.
Still in the tire business. Making more tires and doing less balanced search tree node rotations. But doing a lot of tire rotations. At Firestone. So much better than Les Schwab. Who's Chuck?

Left Chuck 4 years ago. Best decision in my career. I'm still in the financial services sector making more money for less work. Unless y'all are planning to unionize, find another job.

It's more likely you are mediocre. Taking longer than others to do the same work or task. Those type of people seem to get "overwhelmed".
