I'm tired of hearing about our local peers (DVN, CHK, etc) having every other Friday or half-day Fridays off while we continue to work the same 8-5 Monday - Friday workweek year after year. Most of them are even transitioning to flexible or hybrid work schedules in and out of the office. I feel like everyone could use extra time for some work life balance and I would hope the company could get with the times but I don't know if that's a possibility.

CLR will never do a flex schedule as long as Harold is alive. I worked there 7 years and flex schedule was moved up the chain multiple times by executives who were on board with it. Harold rejected it every time.
Seems like the 3 biggest OKC E&P firms are turrible places to work.
No one in management cares about you having work life balance. Do more work and complain less. Make sure to update your goals to plan on having a job by the end of 2022.
