I remember what the severance was like when one of my great colleagues was laid off, but that was a long time ago.
Can someone give me info on severance pay? I wonder if they happened to change severance policy in the meantime?

I was at Staples Canada for 15 years...they offered 33 weeks.
I laughed and called my lawyer...he said 16 MONTHS...minimum...
HR couldn't handle all of the severance claims and handed it over to their law firm.
Then THEY couldn't handle it either...they had to hire ANOTHER bigger firm to handle all the cases.
If stupidity doesn't bankrupt this pathetic company, then the legal bills will.
DO NOT ACCEPT WHAT THEY OFFER YOU...CALL A LAWYER!!!
