Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

It is hopeless to expect a little respect here

Sometimes I feel sorry for colleagues who are very unhappy here for the reason that they expect some respect from this company which they can never get. And that’s pretty weird to me, because I haven't been here for a long time, but it was clear to me right at the beginning that I can’t expect something like this from this company. They have been here much longer and still have high hopes.
The market is hot and I don’t think it has long been a better time to put in a little effort and find a new job? I gave notice yesterday.

For those that have been here long, it used to be different. There WAS a time the job was fun, rewarding, we were respected by management, etc. That was when Kraft ran things. They changed overtime to pay for working over 40 hours, got lots of PTO, and it was a good job....WAS. No More!
Mondelez cut PTO, have to be sued for overtime pay, its like a revolving door of employees.
You are wise to get out....best thing I did for myself.

Many people (myself included) are slow learners.
