Clover... Now Bentobox?

  1. You poor saps at Bentobox may want to polish your resumes ASAP.
  1. I guess this is Frank's way of slowly edging out of Fintech once and for all, now that most banks and CU's know that the Fiserv brand is now no more appealing than toxic waste?

Yabuki's way: acquire and grow the company; stock goes up over time.

Frank's way: acquire and let everything decay while monitoring associates closely; stock tanks on the daily.

The goal of Clover and now Bento is to move away from processing as the primary revenue driver within the merchant acquiring space. Not sure about this acquisition but the overall strategy is solid since processing is a commodity being driven to the lowest margins. The plan to diversify has been around for a long time however OFD has consistently failed to integrate acquisitions so it has not paid off.
