Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Long Live Legere

Evening boys and girls,

Let's huddle around the water cooler for a moment.

Help me understand how our company can mandate a vaccine for half the company for business side but tell COR retail non salaried its STRONGLY recommended. When hey I used to work in retail, and in retail your around many more people on a daily basis. But wait there's more! And then only approve accommodations for medical and religious until January. Word on the street is that Business side is being advised to "figure out what you want to do" or find a new role in the company that doesn't require the vaccination. How is that backing up our BE YOU narrative. It is wrong to threaten people with their careers.

Whatever happened to freedom of choice ? Also if we are a company about social causes which we should be then this vaccine mandate should be an option.

That's my 10 cents turning it into a $1.00. Rant.

One final question to the audience when you put in for your legitamate accommodation request did YOU receive an approval email detailing your approval for accommodation and for how long? Guess what? I didn't and when I ask for my approval letter I get diverted to management. If I am wrong on feeling some type of way then correct me.

P.S. I already COVID- Classic

Attrition is already high af. $20 “guarantee” is just PR to attract new hires. SMRA is a rolling dumpster fire full of management hires off the street with zero experience. They sincerely do not care about the frontline. It would not surprise me in the slightest if they extend the mandate in order to cull a couple thousand more serfs.

The mandate is coming for everyone. COR just got out on hold because they didn't want to lose bodies during the holidays.

To Mike Sievert. Shareholders don’t like seeing stock drop. When is next round of layoffs? That’s the only plan you and the town freier have when you feel pressure. I am sure you are trying to buy another plane but are facing supply chain issues.

These people who are vaxxed in these comments are pretty laughable, the way things are going with T-Mobile you can get vaxxed and still be laid off in 2022. They are outsourcing a lot of our positions so don't laugh too hard at the unvaxxed you could to be next corporate companies only care about revenue.

The magic date in Bellevue is the Beginning of March. Those who got accommodations got them through March. Which is just after annual bonus time and right before ESPP Payouts (March 31). If you're going to do a layoff, do it early in the fiscal year so you have 3 other quarters to absorb the cost of separation packages.

It’s a matter of who’s lawyer. Is better. T Mobile can do whatever they want. They will either win the lawsuit or lose. Although they are magenta by brand, they tend took hover around the gray area. You are at their mercy for most things. Unless you have a good lawyer. In this case, just know that you have a choice. Either get the vaccine or lose your job. If you are a non Vaxer, stop eating mcdonalds or foods with preservatives. Those might be worse than a vaccine. Just my opinion. I’m vaxed. Let me go back to my McRib…
