Legg 0rg Level 2 - chance of layoff?

Considering leaving by 12/31 or 1/31/22, but would much rather be laid off. Will make MR75 in June 2022, so no bennies except phone discount (even if that).

  1. Does anyone have credible information if this org can or may have a layoff?
  2. If no to (1), what are the chances of getting one if requesting it?

I am in the Legg org also. I don't think any severance packages will be given and the chances of getting one via a request are slim and none, and slim left town.

I’m not going to leave money on the table and voluntarily leave by EOY. I want to be laid off and paid for it. Do not make it easy for the su---r Snky.

Unlikely that this company will pay anyone to leave. Severance pay (mgmt) could be a thing of the past. Leave when the timing is right for you and don't wait for the company

I will do the same when I retire in a few months. Stop all T services and go with the money saving offers that are plentiful! T is too poorly mismanaged...I know this 1st hand being a front line worker. The project management teams are clueless which causes enormous waste of resources both personnel and monetary. Such a shame!

From the Stankey/Legg presentation last week, it certainly sounded like there would be NO layoffs.
They did not say that, but that what I took away.

I'd imagine, there could be some extremely select layoffs. One that comes to mind, the Exchange Team/aka email team. It wouldn't be surprising if they lost a body or two, but voluntary attrition might take care of over staffing

Your "free" land line is $20 + tax & fees.
Your cell phone with the BIG discount will be $45 + tax & fees.
Your internet for 25MB down will be $25 (when it works).
Your TV discount will evaporate.

I FIRED AT&T when I retired:
I use a Polycom IP device with google voice for $00.00 for my land line (OOMA is $3.75 mo)
I use Mint Mobile for $15 per mo total for cell service
I steam Sling for $35 per mo or you can sideload USTV & Radio for free and get
free service on Firestick
I have Cox starter 15MB down for $24.99 per mo

Signed,
A retired District Level who buys nothing from T.
