The morale at Tuboscope is just non-existent. What has happened to this place? Nobody even tries anymore, it’s. Just turned into a cesspool of gossip and water cooler chatter. Even management walks around dazed and confused. About time to jump on Linked In and Career Builder and check out other options. Are other NOV groups like this or is it just this outdated, poorly managed joke of a company?

@asyz+1deliinI, i disagree sir. The package deal of a year's salary is well worth it. With that deal you also get your health insurance covered (for you & spouse) until you are 65 years old. That alone saves you a ton of money. With saving's in the bank, an individual IRA and rolling my 401k to another IRA, i am living high on the hog as they say. I took that package deal at the age of 59 and have never looked back.
Quit sniveling, I’m making bank, dunno what your issue is, you obviously think more highly of yourself than what the job market does; grow up and deal with it.
Like most other NOVs facilities. Raises every 4 years, upper management gets bonuses, bonuses get cut in half, goal posts keep getting moved, creating new groups at HQ, the list goes on and on. No 401K match (at least its coming back) and the lump sum will be a joke, less than $300 if lucky. The early retirement package of a years salary is not worth it. With a accountant (bean counter) as CEO who does not care about employees and it shows.

I would agree if it was only one years salary and if I had not been asked into another job paying almost the same. There really is life after NOV and it’s a good one
A nice little payoff? A years salary after taxes taken out doesn't leave much to brag about. Unless of course, you are a top dog, which i doubt.
Way ahead of you, already seen the light and out of that toxic environment with a nice little pay off in the bank!
