Texas bans vaccine mandates

New executive order that denies mandates. Not sure of all the details but may give cover for all the Texas employees and or give you some legal ammo to make things rough on UHG.

i submitted my exemption last week and now there is specific wording for Texas included in the form. I assume they have to approve all ee's in Texas. ... there is wording that cites "or if in Texas, the vaccine goes against your personal conscience" versus religious beliefs, etc.

Jacobson vs Massachusetts
Vaccine mandates are state domain not federal

The announcement basically said they weren’t following the Texas orders. It stated United policy will remain as is for the vaccines. It doesn’t matter where you are because federal law is what they are citing. State law always trumps but we obviously forgot about that one.

No actual law came down from Brandon so there is no clear cut superseding or whatever media wants to spout. You make the companies make a decision to fire you. You press them. If enough do things shape up. If your lowered pay and do not want to comply then what are you clinging to. A cr-p job for 20 an hour. Those are everywhere now and they can't fill them.

Is anyone in the TX area now that is submitting this state law as a reason somehow? Is anyone thinking of making a quick move to Texas or a similar state which provides protection from losing your job because you choose not to get the vaccine? Communication was that local and state laws would be upheld before the policy/mandate would, but I could foresee folks being reassigned or demoted somehow. Thoughts?

And start promoting the use of Monoclonal Antibody for Treatment of COVID-19 instead of vaccines, which is EUA approved and are laboratory made. Same arguments against the vaccine, but this antidote lines the right pockets so it’s ok.
