Requests for accommodation

If anyone on here submits a request for accommodation, we'd all love to know the response, circumstances, etc.

Whether it gets approved or denied.

Weekly test, tests are free nation wide. Hourly gets free PTO to test, salary doesn't. Expect bonuses or forever free PTO until this all goes away. Carry on people. Lets go Brandon.

"Yes, especially at the Greenville plant, I got my exemption..."

What were the terms of the accommodation? Test weekly?

Yes, especially at the Greenville plant, I got my exemption and I know a few that will get theirs. You can put literally anything in and get approved. Word is the Kube himself is coming down soon to address the over 370 short staffed positions. If you have a clearance that is necessary you will be able to leverage these people. Exciting times ! Keep your heads up and God bless. I see the vaccinated will be furious they got a shot for nothing.

Heroes (spelled correctly) are people who don't whine because they have to test weekly to determine if they have a deadly virus that they INSIST on not getting an available vaccine for.
Your spelling skills and complete lack of reality say much more than your ramblings.
STAY HOME FOREVER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO COMPLY.

For the one that got approved, what reason did you give for requesting the exemption? Thanks in advance! And what location is the protest you mentioned? There was one in Greenville TX this morning, and will be another one next Friday 10/22 from 4-7 pm.

I got approved in one day with a religious exemption. But I have to test once a week. The details of once a week hasn’t come out yet. I heard through the grapevine you have to pay out of your pocket because insurance will only cover covid test “if” you have symptoms. If I have to pay no thank you!
Today 10/15/21 was a rough day. Young kindergarten cops (young engineers) are our babysitters for real. They tattletale on us older ones. A friend at work went to school to be an engineer. He’s been promised a promotion for one year. He’s done, been interviewing elsewhere. It’s the mandated vaccine I hate. Last year we were HEROS NOW WE ARE ZEROS!!!😡I’m done and so is other ppl. Unfortunately many caved. I decided I’m not going back Monday. There’s a L3Harris protest Monday 10/18 @ 7am-8:30am BE THERE!

Religious beliefs? How ridiculous is this?
You can have whatever faith or folly you want. STAY HOME AND WORSHIP AND WORK.
But don't think for a minute that you should be allowed in any workplace while outright refusing a life-saving vaccine during a global pandemic.

It seems Raytheon specific, but there are some great resources and info available at https://vaxmandateinfo.com/

Saw it posted over on Raytheon's layoff board.

In case you haven't noticed, we don't care what China does. You peoples only tactic is fear because the "science" isn't convincing. That old government scare tactic "the bad guy is becoming more powerful" is worn out and over played.

While USA argues about vaccines, China is winning the competition - from AI to bio to manufacturing. It will soon take over TSMC (semiconductor manufacture that controls the future). Keep arguing about B..S issues, take the vaccine and get your job done. You're dragging USA down - the future of your children. It's sad, USA can't even compromise on the simplest issues. China is laughing all the way ...
I know there will be many dislikes of this post, but this is the reality.

Write a letter that sounds something like.......

Subject: Request a Religious Exception to the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Dear HR Representative,
I am writing to request a religious exception from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement as this is a violation of my sincerely held religious beliefs.

According to Title VII of the Civil Rights law, RELIGIOUS BELIEFS MUST BE ACCOMMODATED.

My religious rights and my right to privacy are protected by the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of this State. Further, participating in a medical experiment, such as vaccines, is also a violation of my religious beliefs. Covid vaccines have an emergency authorization by the FDA, not an approval. Therefore, these are experimental treatments, and I have the right to refuse consent – without being discriminated against.

According to the FDA, https://www.fda.gov/vaccines-blood-biologics/vaccines/emergency-use-authorization-vaccines-explained:

FDA must ensure that recipients of the vaccine under an EUA are informed, to the extent practicable given the applicable circumstances, that FDA has authorized the emergency use of the vaccine, of the known and potential benefits and risks, the extent to which such benefits and risks are unknown, that they have the option to accept or refuse the vaccine, and of any available alternatives to the product.

MY REQUESTED ACCOMMODATION
My request for accommodation is that I do not consent to receiving the COVID vaccine based sincerely held religious beliefs. I, , affirm my sincerely held religious beliefs and, therefore, attest that I have the lawfully protected right to seek a religious exemption from activities that are offensive to my sincerely held religious beliefs.

Title VII requires an employer, once on notice that a religious accommodation is requested, to reasonably accommodate an employee whose sincerely held religious beliefs, practice or observance conflicts with a work requirement, the undue hardship defense to providing religious accommodation requires a showing that the proposed accommodation in a particular case poses a “more than de minimis” cost or burden.

Sincerely,

  • If L3Harris denies your request, your Rights have therefore been violated and you can easily contact the EEO, an attorney, etc... and have grounds with which to sue L3Harris. All you need is 5 or more people to start a rock solid class action lawsuit against L3.

Show me the numbers on the vaccine. I have looked at them and it's precisely why I'm not getting it. It's amazing how smart you think you are by trusting big pharma. The vaccine was created in months. Has it ever crossed your mind they lied about the effectiveness and side effects in order to make billions?

How silly. All of this because you won't bother to think of science and society over your skepticism.

Florida is an “at-will” employment state, meaning that either you or your employer can terminate your employment at any time and without any advance warning.

Agreed. Also interested in the details of what they base an approval/denial on. The FAQs say they will "explore the facts and circumstances of each", but does that mean they will consider how valuable you are to the company, if you hold a clearance, if you are have a unique skillset? I'm thinking that will certainly be considered.
