Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Maternity leave and resign

It’s been a few months since I have returned from mat leave. I have a good offer elsewhere and thinking to resign. I have my full vacation remaining. Will Exxon pay out my pro rated vacation? I see the guidelines say it is up to the supervisor but what really drives that?

All vacation paid out, no FHs, and not dictated by supervisor. You do not have to pay back insurance premiums if you were financially covered by short term disability and parental leave. If that is the case cost of your insurance premiums were deducted from your maternity leave benefits (that you earned while you were working). If you have an offer that you think is better fit for your family then absolutely take it. Don't look back unless to help others as someone else said. Good luck OP!

Unused vacation is paid, in one final check. Pension is not paid at 100% for anyone unless you reach age 60.

They payoff all vacation except floating holidays. If you have those, take before. They also pay out pension at 100% lump sum. Search the calculator on the pension site and calculate what you will be paid out. Involves notarized paperwork and pays out 90 days after your last day I believe. Good luck and don’t look back except to maybe rescue others that may be able to do something outside the company.

Any vacation entitlement should be paid out. You might want to send a note out to TG or her minions in HR confirming that so they don't short change you.
