Getting rid of ETSD?

Heard a rumor they are getting rid of the entire service desk and half the incident managers. Anyone know if this is true? The IMs were already overworked as it was..

Incident managers, problem managers and change managers have been impacted.?basically, the whole service management team… with a few exceptions.

Yes its a thankless job now more frustrating by fewer SME's. Heck we just stop creating incidents like cases then problem solved!

That's a thankless job. I wouldn't take that job, ever. Who will manage the incidents if they are gone? It's already hard enough to open and incident and get the right resources to resolve it. Everyone one of these is client impacting in some way or another. Not resolving issues would definately impact clients big time.

I wouldn't be surprised if it all gets 'consolidated' to FGS (Fiserv Global Services). Hare Krishna!

I heard this rumor as well. I certainly hope it's false. Given Frank's destructive methodologies though it unfortunately would not be a surprise.
