Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

It’s a layoff

1 week to make a life altering decision to move to a city you’ve never been to. Folks it’s a layoff, not a relocation. And the leaders are incented by % that quit. The more the better. How this affects operations? The crushing work load for those d-mb enough to stay? 2022 is going to be chaos. But something tells me a huge Frank and Guy payday

My sympathies to those who have been told they need to move. It is unreasonable to ask some to move to a place they have never been and to make the decision so quickly.

2 of the 3 options are meaningless. The best one is where you get to train your replacement. That’s the best one, oh holy lord

I promise you there is no incentive for leaders. Maybe at the executive level but that’s it.

If it's any consolation, just remember that Frank will tank FISV into the ground soon enough - we'll all be looking for new gigs within the next year or two.
