Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Warehouse jobs

I left Sam's for a warehouse job. It was the best decision I could have made. It's not an easy job but I'm paid what I'm worth, I know what my job is and I'm not expected to pick up after other people, and most importantly, there is no drama that comes with working at Sam's. If you're young and in good health, I advise you to look at your options. Better jobs exist.

While I was still working for sams I went and got OSHA certified on the crown forklifts. And yes. Anyone who drives a forklift for sams is grossly underpaid. I started out at 25 per hour and after 1 year I am making 27.50 working at a local warehouse. Even walmart and sams distribution centers under pay the drivers.

I wish something like that was within range of me. I'm forever looking. Everything pays cr-p here and it's not much different an environment. I miss my last job. I wish I could have transferred but that's not here too.
