Thread regarding Dunkin layoffs

Another great loss this morning

When will it end?

We keep losing GOOD people, GOOD leadership who are choosing to leave on their own. If this keeps happening, there will be nothing left of Dunkin' legacy.

Is anyone else starting to wonder that things are even worse than we're made privy to?

No need to answer but be honest with yourself. Would you have not done the same or similar if you were in a leadership position and had the chance to make some money?

In the grand scheme of things and ask the possibilities of leadership, I think we've been very fortunate to this point. It could have always been much worse

Not being a sheep. It's called being a realist.

I agree with "good people" but "good leadership"..... what have you been smoking?

Leadership lined up their pockets with stock options - they cashed close to 300 mln in last years... more than company made in profits.... Wake up and stop being a sheep...

Can you share some info on how previous acquisitions have gone? What’s the protocol?

The writing has been on the wall since the Inspire acquisition. Once I learned what they had done to the HQ's of previous companies they'd acquired I feared where things were heading. Generally they seem to offer some spots to leadership in Georgia and create enough anxiety at HQ that people leave on their own (no severance that way! $$) followed by a big round of layoffs before packing up to Georgia. Truthfully I did think there was a chance Dunkin would be different where they have such deep roots in New England and I still hope I'm wrong but things seem to be following roughly the same timeline with them as well. It's really unfortunate that things are going this way.

100%. I was shocked by the news this morning. Pretty soon we will all be gone.
