This is an easy way for Vz to get rid off people. The grass isn’t greener nor is the pay and benefits anywhere else especially if you have a family. Think about that before you walk out the vz door because you didnt want to get vaccinated.

There are plenty of companies with benefits just as good (if not better).
I left a few months back after 7 hrs of service with a higher base pay, company paid insurance and more PTO.
Open your eyes! There’s other companies out there!

@1emu: hearing stories like yours is encouraging. I've been doing a little experiment. I've been searching for equivalent positions to the one I have at smaller companies. I call each one and ask about their covid policy, and I ask about the salary range. The majority do not support any mandates. Neither mask nor vax. The majority are offering equivalent or higher salary compared to my current. I haven't applied to any yet, but it looks like I will be now.
There's a labor shortage out there. Companies are desperate for qualified employees.
like most companies around the USA this won't make an impact. people are loudly d-mb but they are still the minority

My employers are radically opposed to vax vax mandates
They are unaffected by the current mandates, but are talking to lawyers about actions they will take if/when the tyrants try to extend their current overreach

And, no... I'm not anti-vax. I have all that I should... including the annual flu shot.
I've consulted with my doctor and my family. Right now, I'm not in a high risk group. I'll put my money on natural immunity. We all think that's the more robust option right now.
We should all be able to review the data, discuss it with your doctor and loved ones, and decide which is the right choice for you.
If you choose to get the vax, you're as protected as you can be. Nobody else's choice matters to you... unless you're not clear on what a vaccine is.
It won’t be long before every other big company will mandate it. Your option is to go a smaller company and make half the pay.

It’s a matter of time until all doors will be shut to unvaccinated employees. Get vaccinated and move on.
