Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

It can only get worse here

Judging by the situation as this year is coming to an end, I can't even imagine what awaits us here next year. More work? Generally less valued employees?
My only hope is that I will find a new job and that in 2022 I will not even be here.

@1qrf+1djr30dY - current employee with an ax to grind over an inept out of touch CEO who is only worried about being on TV and tracking my keystrokes. The void of me leaving will be felt. While I feel for my team who didn’t get sacked, I don’t care about Fiserv anymore. Management is a truly now a joke. That man is toxic and is destroying a once amazing company, after he destroyed FD. Congrats to KKR for doing it again.

As a veteran of the company, over a decade in, I’m disappointed in what I’ve been seeing. Here’s what I’ve learned over the years:

  1. This is the nature of the software industry. Someone new comes in and wants to make their mark
  1. Spend the time learning what you can while you are with the company because your day will come eventually
  1. The upper management has no clue what others are doing in their jobs, nor do they understand the impact as to what their actions will ultimately lead to.

It’s unfortunate to see a company such as this not care to put in the effort to see just what each division is doing these days and just how critical certain employees are to the success of the unit.

I just had a promising interview yesterday. If all goes well I’ll be leaving Fiserv soon. I’ve enjoyed working there up until Frank took over and made it a sh---y company.

Does anyone think the 'relocate' plans, which is documented nowhere on fuel, is actually a ploy to instill fear in everyone and get as many staff to find other jobs so they don't have to pay severance?

These posts are not from Fiserv associates they are from former associates with an ax to grind…

Don't imagine what awaits and actively control what you can control. Hope does not get a new job. You have to get actively pursue, so do it. Make 2022 your best year.
