Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Thinking of switching roles

I've been having trouble finding a new job so I recently decided to try and switch to a new role within Fiserv to add more skills to my resume and make myself more marketable. That will keep me here for at least another year or two but considering that I've been having no luck finding something new, it's the only option I have. I keep hearing of people finding new jobs with great pay. Do you mind sharing what your role at Fiserv was and where you are working now? Just to know what my best bets are.

Hopefully I don't dox myself, I was CEO previously. After the FD merger I decided it was time to leave. I'm chairman of several other companies now. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. It's better on the other side, good luck!

I was a client facing program manager, was able to find a job in about 3 months. I actually just came back to say thanks to this sit me - offered me a venting Avenue when sh*t hit the fan. Believer that it’s best to leave behind - so Adios. Good luck to all those who are looking

I would recommend depending on yourself to learn new skills. There are alot of free ways to skill up on your own.

Yes, it's a pain in the a-s to do so but, you won't be at the mercy of this company or any other company in the future.

I was a software developer. I am working at a different fintech firm now. I'm paid a lot more and treated a lot better, and it's WFH. I tell my new coworkers how terrible Fiserv became under Frank's leadership and they are in disbelief of the things I tell them regarding forced relocation, etc.

Fiserv has the perfect position available for you. It is in New Jersey.

Hey folks, don't dox yourselves. One can never know if a post is in good faith or not.

Let's start with this: OP, why don't YOU tell US what your role is and what you're applying for internally? :-D

FTR, PM's are going like hotcakes. We can't keep them around. They started jumping ship this summer.
