Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

I shouldn't have left my old job

I left a small-to-medium-sized regional bank a few years ago to join BofA because I was offered more money. It never occurred to me that within a year, I'd be regretting my decision more than any other in my life. I realize now that working in good culture is more important than any pay raise. Being able to do your job without stressing out every day while being able to rely on your manager to help out if needed is priceless. I've been trying to transfer back but so far no luck. For now, I'm stuck here.

Whiners and complainers are never happy no matter where they work. I doubt you were ever content. Your nature is to complain.

The bank is so big that different areas can vary quite a bit. Try looking into a different division or part of the bank with a new manager who provides better engagement.

the culture has been on a downhill slide for many years now.
It's horrible and will become as toxic as well fargo soon.
