With everyone being told they either need to relocate (if not close to an office) or be let go - has anyone approached a lawyer about it? I'm especially curious about those who were hired as a remote employee. Also I remember FB bragging about how amazing the transition was to remote work and how it was seamless and nothing to worry about with Fiserv, it's going stronger than ever - has anyone thought about approaching the media and letting them know that he is now back pedaling and changing the story? Pretty sure approaching the media should be done by someone who is already gone.

I'm waiting to get the severance paperwork before I set an appointment but I have engaged with an attorney about the layoffs
We have the right to leak documents related to the terms and conditions of our employment, even if they are marked as confidential.
I heard one of the managers is planning a massive Twitch-size leak soon. Can't wait to watch the place go up in flames.. wait, it already is!
I've been anonymously leaking information to the media, and will continue to do so.
Sadly, what they're doing is legal, since they do offer to keep you employed if you do move.
Media approach is dangerous with how most severance packages work. If s client notices and voices something that's different but a former employee would have to have real evidence of what's going on and a lot of gumption to say anything publicly. I don't think anything is illegal here re the relo RIF.
