Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Market share plummets

Don’t be fooled by the Transform plan to take back market share. Several thousand employees were let go, regions combined, work from plans, selling off the Home office in order to reduce expenses in the multi millions.
Then run tv ads with new lower rates.

Yet ready to file a round of rate increases in 40 plus states.
High rates and awful outsourced claim service are the nail in the coffin for ALLSTATE. We have been played hard by lies and deceit to grow.

Wilson and his leadership team need to go.

Customers have options and the lowest cost insurer wins most every time. So it is definitely not Allstate that will grow market share with Wilson on the throne.

Allstate is in good shape. It has shiny new nonstandard books (Nat Gen and Safe Auto!) Allstate does such a good job in the standard market they are now going to dominate the Non-Standard market. Remember, 29% of all new business is coming from the direct channel. The Northbrook crew did an outstanding job with Esurance and will be a player with the Allstate Branded direct. We are growing baby! Lookout Geico, State Farm, and progressive. There is a new sheriff in town and his name is Sheriff Transformative Growth!

@1col+1ds8lDWi considering the entire market has been struggling since then (thanks Biden), it's good to not be declining at an accelerated rate

@1ayq+1ds8lDWi Do you use a computer much? It hasn’t increased since May. Go look. Those increases were not from true market growth. OP is correct.

Stock price has been performing well, which is all that matters to the powers that be

Blame starts at the top due to having the highest Auto insurance rates at Allstate making it beyond repair.
Commercial on the other hands needs to be dismantled from top to bottom.
