VP used to mean something. Not no more. The new VP for the east don’t make me laugh. I have worked under this bully jerk for almost 2 years and hes a joke. my team is terrified of him and his lieutenants and henchmen. Sick that he is are VP. Watch your back. dont speak up or voice opinion. If you do, this insecure vin”di-k”tive clown will mark you.

What did central do now?
Well, it didn’t take long for the new Central VP to pi-s off his team and make himself look like an a-s. Wonder how long he will last.
Well Verizon is 30 times the size of us, not 10.
Also, they have at least 11 presidents publically listed so without access to the org chart we have no idea how many VPs they have.
Goldman Sachs for example has over 12,000 VPs.
It's just a title, don't get too hung up on it. In fact the whole reason we recently rolled out the SVP title was to differenciate them. We have EVP, SVP, and VP. It's simply corporate structure and it's not unusual.
Between sales, towers and fiber, we have 10 or more VPs. Verizon is 10 times the size of us but I can tell you unequivocally, Verizon does not have in excess of 100 VPs.
The VP was replaced, a new position was not created.
There aren't too many VP in areas that produce, it's half the company who are in charge of watching and measuring the ones who produce that's the issue.
Now the west has a new VP? How is it that we have so many Vice Presidents for such a small company?

One of the Lightower senior executives was half in the bag one time at a kickoff at Foxwoods and he told me “See how it’s spelled? It is Lightower like Lie-Tower, not light tower, it is all built on smoke and mirrors!” How true that statement was.
The rumor always was that light tower employees were told they bought Crown Castle.

Lightower mgt absolutely hated being purchased by Crown Castle. Their attitude after the purchase was we are Lightower and everyone else is lowly Crown. Many of the Lightower bullies left for Lightpath to join Turtz but several still remain at Crown, I'm sure more will leave for Lightpath but the damage that was done culturally by Lightower Mgt might be irreparable.
I’m so surprised Crown doesn’t wonder about people leaving in droves ever since the “Lightower empowerment” . There are good souls who left and continue to leave that brought in millions of dollars for the Crown organization. I am seeing 20-30 year industry vets taking off. Crown does not even give exit interviews to ANYONE in order to find out why they are losing talent, what kind of company does this?

Ok, let’s be completely transparent and frank here. #1, Lightower was a well known to be a “pump and dump” throughout the entire Telecommunications industry, it is 100% clear that Jay Brown was not only duped into the $7.2 Billion buy but also sold on putting the LT management team in charge that tanked the company and then almost all left to Lightpath anyway. Bunch of A-Holes. They will now do the same thing with Lightpath that they did with Conversent and Lightower, pump and dump, leaving ~50 insiders very rich.
For those bashing the fiber side, Sunesys, FPL Fibernet and Wilcon were all doing fine under Crown, they were all HIGHLY respected and well established companies. The common denominator was when Lightpath management trashed the entire fiber division (intentionally) to the point that they don’t even have a separate website at this point. As mentioned, many have already left to Lightpath though some are left, Lightower was the misfit Santa’s elves of the Telecom Industry, they were given the reigns and just trashed many people of great integrity from the companies they lost business to for years.

I hate to break it you you but Crown uses the same bad systems we've been using for years, decades in most cases. If you're trying to brag that you're the best of the worst companies that we bought, then I guess you can take pride in that.
