Thread regarding CVS layoffs

No cr-p reason why I should leave

I already know what a p-o company this is. But I need a real answer from a creditable source of why I should not accept a job from another company that I was offered. Pharmacist are about to get a bonus while store managers are not. Pharmacist now get paid for coming in early and staying late- unlimited apparently- is there SM bonus coming up? Or is there a pay scale increase coming up? I’m in the “c” market. Which is the lowest in the company I.E. I’m maxed out at 65k haven’t got a raise in 2 years.

Or die on the job, as did one 41 year old pharmacist in Indiana who was told she couldn’t leave the store when she felt ill until a replacement came. She coded in the store and didn’t make it.

I left this company after 33 years… maxed out manager pay… no raise in 2 years and continued to cut hours… it was my health or die in that building… went to work as a supervisor at a bank, and have never been so happy.. no more payroll conversations.. no more nights.. no more weekends and holidays.. I get to actually enjoy the holidays with my family this year.. took a small cut in pay but my life was worth it!!! Get out while you can!!! No regrets!!!

I'm sorry, but the company doesn't care about you, me or anyone else. They view us all as disposable. I left 4 months ago to go to a big box grocery store as an ASM. I didn't take a pay cut and I'm a million times happier!!!! My advise is to leave on your own terms. Sit back and watch the company burn. The staffing issues are not going to change.
