Society needs newspaper, just like it needs sensors. So how about investing in the technology and teams to adapt to the times? Oh no that would cost money cutting into the profit - such short term, narrow thinking.
Nothing can save the newspapers. They have been disrupted and are going to vanish.
The technologies honeywell builds will also vanish. Jobs will be lost as honeywell looks for new products, new crops, new herds. It will happen even to the most sacred cows in honeywell ( aerospace accelerometer plants. It is coming for you too)
No, this is what happens when herd animals don't stick together and bicker with each other about covid and other social issues, while their communities get ripped apart for profit.
That is what happens when herd animals get slow , old or sick.
