Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Sandra Lopez left intel

Finally after 15 years of working at Intel, Sandra l left intel. Of course she didn’t leave a cushy job where she worked on things like intel wearables, sports etc as a VP and wasting Intel’s money to attend Met Gala and Davos, what!! Until she apparently got another cushy job. Thank you Microsoft for recruiting her. She needed another big pocket id--tic tech firm to support her do “things” - I.e. a significant lower level work than fluffy slide ware production, promote women/latinas I.e. hello, me me me Sandra and go to Davos….

The outpouring support on LinkedIn from intel employees is very discouraging. Bob Swan “do wonderful Sandra”. My god, he did his wonderful by cutting R&D and good engineers to support these types of bozos. Sandra, asha K…Bob the known show who couldn’t do things that his mother wouldn’t approve.

Josh Walden thank you for all you have done Sandra… what. Because of people like Josh Walden we are where we are. Clueless assses.

I applaud her if she did anything to help other co workers - female, Latina or otherwise. I doubt that she has done anything for other other than helping herself. Shame on intel for making these people VPs and even thanking them for their contributions. This is why good people at intel are not giving their best anymore.

Good riddance Sandra. Hope more people like you will leave intel and join our competitors.

Worked alongside her many years ago. Mind boggling that this useless woman lasted as long as she did. Then again can’t fault her for milking it this long. Wouldn’t anyone?

Agree with these comments. As someone who worked in the group as this person, I can validate the comments. She along with her Gang were initially responsible for intel’s wearable business which was a PR mess. They then got moved to intel sports and all they did was wear stiletto, dress up
, travel in business class flights and ruin intel sports business model.

They closed down the division and laid off many folks. It is very unfortunate that she joined Microsoft and will definitely ruin their culture. She is all talk and no work. It is only
About personal branding and does no contribution to the company and business. Just a simple google search about her will show this. She just played the gender card and got all the way to VP at intel.

James carwana was a spineless leader who supported her all the way.

Sandra lopez was a Total du----s who worked in intel sports and just built her own brands she did nothing to help better intel sports. I worked in intel sports until recently before they sold the division and can confirm the above comments are true. She talks about empathy at workplace and intel
Sports closed down the division and laid off many folks. Where was empathy here. We were working for 12-16 days everyday when she was as taking flights to LA every work week in the Amy of business.

She assumes she has business acumen but intel sports was having a loss of $95M every year. Did no profit for intel.

Most tech companies are embracing immersive media, AR/VR and entering metaverse. Intel just destroyed.

She constantly played the gender card at intel sports and loser James carwana was too afraid to raise his voice. There is another worm called Nadia banks at intel. PG please send her home too.

Shame on you Sandra. You are a disgrace us.

Another cancer excised from Intel's top level, after BK, SA, MR, NS, and BK's boyfriend JW. Still a few remaining: the other Sandra, RK.
Problem is now how to clean up the bloated middle management to senior director-level structure where know-nothing self-promoting klowns abound.

Thanks for your report. PG coming in should cause such folks feel hot under the collar. For the company to get back to its roots we should expect a steady stream of such exits.
