When will the layoffs and terminations begin again? We are getting closer the Thanksgiving and end of the year.

Yeah, we have said this elsewhere especially at that place, but this is some 'boomer doodie. Most don't even know their jobs, they hire cheap and hire em deep and steep.
it's 2021. The yoohoos been a thing since the 90s. Business folks have been using blackberry (aka 'early smartphones') since then. Folks been using amazon since the 90s. Public Libraries have had computers since the 90s. And so on.

You're telling me that mrs boomer can only barely figure out facebook (allowed anyone to join in 2006) enough to post on it 20 times a day and parrot propagana you got off fox news or cnn, or other American "news" drivel (on air in 96, website almost exactly then), and can search engine "corporate doodie show near me" and download the latest horror flick audiobook... but you can't boopin figure out how to poopin format your excel formula when you can just go "how do i use LOOKUP in excel?" in google in the first place?
Naahh If you job/office/etc issues you a computer to use, you are supposed to know how to use a computer. you've had at least 20+ years to figure it out... if you couldn't take a month or so to figure out how to do your job with 'magical blinky internet super duper po---r thing', the problem isn't technology, it's you mrs boomer boomer minded corporate dolt. Saying you're not a "computer person" when your computer is an integral tool, is like a carpenter saying they're not a hammer person.. Ok boomers. and other boomer minded company dolts.

I believe both are ongoing. They work hard to avoid federal laws of letting go too many at one time. Automate and move to offshore are their motto!
Wouldn't expect layoffs until they get an idea of the number of employees that fail to get vaccinated. I'd be surprised if there are layoffs before 2022

2022 when consolidation begins within the new merged team ECII & CDSM, redundant positions in a large group focused on clinical data strategy. Clear overlap in roles now that they merged. Of course leadership says differently, only time will tell.

Antiwork until we get real employment contracts, no employment at whim-will, real benefits, employment protections, and buy-in/ownership ,and we 'grade' the board of directors and managers and have the ability to terminate them for cause--just like every other westernized country.
