Technology is becoming healthy. They are getting rid of the dead weight. It seems now they are hiring people with proper skills to get the job done.

I can confirm this

I’m in Home Lending and have been for 15 years. We’ve had the two best years we’ve ever had in 2020 and 2021 and we’re not even offering HELOCs at this time. Very healthy.

Consumer Lending (Personal Lines & Loans) has been growing and hitting all targets.

None, tone from the top is toxic and tone deaf so it permeates throughout. Amazing leaders like s Samuelson have retired and those last bits of light and shelter are gone.

None. Or another way, zero point zero.

I don't know of an area of WF not hit with layoffs at one point or another. So I think the answer is none. All are available for more chopping on the block. But retail and Commercial Capital have held fairly well as of late. Risk has probably seen its share of cuts for a while. But who really knows because as a whole, isn't it just a guess?

'Healthy' might mean free from the issues the main LOBs including the ones you post above all have. It could mean they are talking about more of a subjective health than an objective one. Just because its making money doesn't mean it's healthy.

@whl+1dvLHEpy lol, well played. I read that seeing Corp. Trust thinking that's not all that great of a business to begin wi....ooohhhhhh.

To answer OP, go read the 10Q or 10K. I'm confident there are quite a few areas making money just fine -- Wholesale, securities areas, with real estate being what it is Mortgage is probably doing ok too, etc.
