Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Are all telephonic jobs in danger?

Since Humana is pivoting more towards in-home services, does that mean all telephonic jobs are in danger at this point? I know some will still remain but what kind of numbers are we talking about here? Will we have more mass layoffs before the end of the year/start of 2022?

I agree with more movement toward in-home management. With the acquisition of Kindred and a higher reimbursement rate from CMS Humana has definitely been moving towards more in-home management. The last fourth-quarter call we had everything was geared towards in-home strategies for 2022. The last seven minutes of the presentation telephonic management was talked about. We shall see. One thing is for sure you never know what it’s going to happen at Humana

I agree more layoffs coming but I will ride the wave and finish with my severance.
