Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

When's the last time you received a raise?

And how much was it? I know some raises were given out in August but it was not across the board.

Some reasons: 1) In some managers eyes anyone working from home got a raise

  1. Budget cuts to make sure jobs, " wink, wink", in group don't move out of state (if you believe that, there is some great property in Florida's sink ho-e district for sale)
  2. We need to raise funds for the executives to ensure they don't jump ship and risk our revenue projectory

July. ED move from CCB to AWM. HR put up a fight, but my MD fought harder and I won about 18K. I made the case based on how many open positions were there and how my workload would be nowhere near as easy as CCB.
