The biggest sign that the company is sinking and that no one should have high hopes is when those who were in a slightly better positions here start to leave. A friend of mine and a longtime colleague who, say, was more comfortable here than most, gave notice. I wonder if Ascension is even trying to keep those best employees here, a few of the most talented?

@4jqw+1dylVXIw can you elaborate? Is this at Asc? Why am I not surprised.
Yea you are correct. Every one too busy being manipulated into yapping and protesting about non issues. Outsourcing is just one of many critical issues adversely affecting the people that has been obscured by the nonsense flying about. The powers that be in this country, he-l the world, have won.
Ascension is not the only the only company going overseas. Americans should place the blame in themselves for allowing corporate taxes being lowered to such a point these companies took that bag and ran.
Lots of nurses and doctors are about to be let go in the upcoming days and what you may not know is their replacements have been in the works for over two years now. What a great time and excuse to use a pandemic for such a frenetic overhaul in staffing.
The talent left many layoffs ago.
