I'm thankful because if I wasn't certain I was leaving this wretched place the moment an opportunity presented itself before, I sure as he-l am now. I still can't believe that people working at freaking Walmart got a day off yesterday and we had to work. I hope many other people came to the same conclusion. In this job market, if enough of us walk away, they'll finally get to feel some consequences.

Thank you for working the holiday , I enjoyed my time off with my family . I need you to do it again at Christmas! Thanks and as always your the best !
Once upon a time, some CVS stores stayed open on Thanksgiving because people grew up depending on CVS. No matter where you travel in the country, if you run out of something or left something at home, CVS had your back. CVS was properly staffed and the employees working Thanksgiving didn't mind it.
Those days are long gone. Now the staffing model is entirely unsustainable, due to leadership being penny-wise and pound-foolish.
Shop elsewhere. Work elsewhere.
Lol worker bees running around the store’s understaffed, stressed, both mentally and physically. DM’s and Regionals either don’t care or are afraid of being targeted and losing there jobs for standing up and saying what’s really going on. It truly is a sh-t show. Stores open morning until night on thanksgiving after 3pm only a handful of shoppers. I’m sure Karen enjoyed her thanksgiving with her family.
We will close down before they realize. Regional and DV visits are still business as usual. "Nothing to see here" "We have to get back to basics". They are completely blind to what's going on at a store level.
They may not care now but at some point they will, word is out about CVS and the horrific and toxic work environment.
No one cares. And I'm not saying that to be mean. I'm also at my breaking point, but also realize no one gives a flying f.
