My worst fears came through and that is that they cut my hours just in this pre-holiday period. Terrible. Now I can't quit, it's not a good time for me. Looks like I'm not the only one because I've seen someone here before complaining about getting hours cut around bonus time?

Work over what you’re scheduled. If they schedule you a 6 hour shift, work 7 or 8. It’ll be weeks before they figure it out because no one is monitoring it now that PTC is gone.
Must be nice. I got 33 hrs of overtime last paycheck and probably more on the next one.
If you're part-time, they will cut your hours. They do it all the time. And the more people they hire, the fewer hours you get.
But sometimes it's so they don't have to make you full time. An associate, in the department I work in, recently was able to force the administration to give them full time, because of the hours they had been working. Full time means full benefits. Bet management gets in trouble.
