I hope to get a job with competitors next year. Many of my colleagues are with direct competitors now. Has Fiserv lost sight of the competition? Sometimes it seems like they don’t care at all what the competition is doing, but perhaps they could learn something from the competition, right? Many competitors have come a long way from Fiserv.

This sounds like it was written by a bot.
It is a mistake for Fiserv to focus on POS, because it is one of the highly competitive spaces that are getting hammered right now because crypto is flipping it on it's head.
Fiserv doesn’t fear competitors because they are exiting those businesses. Starting with payments. They can’t compete and they know that. They are are in on POS
