I see that some were called to return, so I wonder if those who actually returned received the same pay/ same benefits or not?
I recently heard that someone came back and got a significantly higher pay, but I don’t believe that. I hope I will never be furloughed nor find myself in such a hopeless situation that I would agree to come back here.

@1cuy You kind of answered your own question there. He said he wouldn't come back if he was furloughed, which means he still works there. He probably hasn't left yet because he's doing the same as you like waiting for a better option to come along.
There are no returns at UP. Once you take the hot dog you can’t give it back
Your post doesn’t make sense. You say you would never come back if furloughed, but you still work here? Where is the logic in this? If you feel this way, why haven’t you left already? I dislike the company also, but will stay until a better option comes along.
