July will be the next step
@39gfm+1e5BJMQs And no one is posting who or what department has been L O. HR is watching esp. after someone posted the AA annihilation and the email from AM in who has been let go.
$50,000,000 loss?? Mexico?
TLO use to seem like a useful source for company rumors. Now it seems like people post made up junk that doesn’t happen.
@38yip+1e5BJMQs Wow. Is it being sold? I'd have think that Clear was one of the safe products/LoB.
@38kfd+1e5BJMQs Any other LoB? Who's/What's next?
Clear
Today
Well, it was expected and probably another one in November. I'm surprised that they gave such an early notice. Lately in the that last few layoffs, it seemed that they told the poor sap they had 2 weeks to turn in everything and then severance. This is more than a months notice. I'm just hoping to make it to November. Sigh
What teams were laid off yesterday?
Well it happened yesterday. Layoffs we're given out for July 1, 2022
Rumor has it there will be cuts in Q1. I'm hoping its a layoff and not a firing. They already set the board with Partial Achieves for people last year. It sucks to be laid off, but it also sucks to be a survivor - that means more work, and its just plain depressing.
Layoffs (or straight firing) in 2022 will start with those cut via poor reviews from mandatory stack ranking. Managers are required to give a certain amount of people less than achieved.
Silly question. Of course there will be. They still have US jobs to offshore.
It’s just part of the change management. They want to grow profits by cutting costs. I wonder how much of the success this year is due to higher productivity from WFH and savings on building, travel, etc from not having to have the lights on in the mothership.
We had the best year in a long as time with everyone working remotely. During a pandemic. Now they feel like they can continue the success by locking everyone up in their cubicle in 2022.
Yes, the Lichstendoefs will battle the Gwarnenifs for middle earth supremacy as the belts tighten and spells are cast
I may be dew-eyed, but I thought layoffs were done to tighten belts in companies that are struggling to to be sustainably profitable.
TR is doing well. stock is up. Have a good balance sheet, cash reserves and cash infusion from the sale of F&R. Is TR in the realm of Upside Down, 'cause these layoffs with the company being healthy and profitable are stranger things.
That is a d-mb question as how would people know?
Yeah it's pretty sad when employees have to brace themselves for more layoffs than to get excited about promotions.
Minor tremors starting before Christmas through MLK Jr. Birthday holiday. TAP will get hit by the foreshocks. Then the Richter magnitude scale in summer.
You hear it first, all news, all the time; the TR layoff watch never stops; read here two, three, four times a day and check every 22 minutes, and we'll give you the world
Wonder if the OP is clickbait by the website.
Too soon to say as they close out the books for this year. A few years back around 1st quarter, they did offer employees a chance to leave with severance.
