Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Our CEO is a very stupid man

I'm sure he considers himself to be a business genius while the company burns and lives are disrupted, but he's a fool. His ego is truly shocking.

On making money. Always remember the quote from CITIZEN KANE - " Well it's no trick to make alot of money. If all you want is to make alot of money."

WFH is here to stay. He can stick with his 1970s business model if he likes but no matter what he (or you) thinks, the future belongs to companies that can adapt to the times. You and Fiserv can be relics together.

Effects of work from home permanently."

Huh, that's weird. I left FISV and began a new role this week at their arch-nemesis. The entire team is remote. It works for them rather well. Some guys have been remote on my new team for literally twenty years. And don't forget, what was formerly knows as OSI performed brilliantly for more than decade with a remote work model.

Eh, it's ok. Now that half of Fiserv's former leadership team is at Conduent, lol. Another remote-friendly company. A "social media ruse"?? Lolol. Dinosaur.

Not trying to be an HR troll like the last post. But how stupid can he be? Did you miss that he made 100 million dollars a few years ago? He is a very smart businessman and doesn't care about throwing anyone out with the trash. Do you think ranting on this site will change that?

Why because he merely believes that people work best when together with their colleagues on behalf of their paying clients. Is that what you are condemning, if so most every ceo in the world should be listed here.

He thinks he can run a tech company like a bank. The architects and advisory level developers that are 'nuerodiverse' simply aren't going to stand for having their badge swipes monitored when they work until 1AM compiling code for their big project to move from a SOAP to a RESTFUL framework. Good luck.
