Verizon FiOS is Sony BetaMax while cable tv coaxial is VHS.

5G was oversold by Hans. The problem with 5G is the higher the band, the lower the coverage. 5G high band requires line of sight too. Verizon and its competitors can't afford to buy or build out a 100% high band network. At this time T-Mobile has better 5G coverage than Verizon, but it is the low to mid band technology which in some cases is slower than Verizon 4G. 5G mid range will allow Verizon to offer wireless broadband outside of our traditional geographic territory which is a new revenue stream, but our competitors can invade our home turf as well.

What are you talking about? The dividend is "safe" because 5g has been halted. 5G is not as good as FiOS plus 4G.

Korea, Japan and China do not have as many wires because they could not afford to string up their countries like the USA did and did not want their country's infrastructure to look like Venezuela's

I actually think it’s kind of funny our transportation secretary is Pete Butigieg. Have you ever seen the movie, Something about Mary… lol
He will be enforcing that practice at rest stops across America lol

So how do airports in Korea, Japan, and China work? They've been using 5G there wihtout any problems for a while. Sounds like some politicians have their hands out waiting to get their wallets filled before approving.

Hey I like Bu-----g. We need to appoint more swampers based on what kind of wokeness they bring to the table instead of actual qualifications.

Once the correct palms are greased it'll get turned up everywhere. There is zero chance these companies made huge expenditures and are going to eat the investment.

each UWB has cell has a reach of 50 feet and doesn't penetrate walls. it takes 5000 UWB cell site to match the coverage of midband.

It is only MB which isn't the focus of Verizon's main expansion - UWB. And for those old enough to remember, there was the same concern over 4G that anointed to nothing. Just a bunch of government dopes looking for handouts before giving the green light. I would hate to be Tmob right now though as their entire 5G is based on MB They don't have a UWB network if something with the MB does end up having an issue.

5G was a pie in the sky proposal developed in Europe a bunch of years ago and reborn with the happy Viking and his predecessor. It is interesting that neither one of them were serious telecom execs. One was QB4 and the other an accountant.

Into that the street invested a fortune. Did anyone really ever see a good business plan for the incremental cashflows on this one? "SILENCE"

What is also interesting is that much like Burger King watched McDonalds, T-Mobile has learned and gained much from the company's 5G foray.

5G was always going to be a bust, it just doesn’t matter. But you know what does and still matters? The Fios network they stopped building once demand reached an all time high. People still ask” are we going to get Fios?” No one ever asks about 5g.
Almost seems like they want to crash this company.
