Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Tomorrow is the deadline for the vax status

You don’t have to be vaxxed but you have to fill out the form by 1/4. When will the people who don’t fill out the form be off payroll?

After the upcoming November elections it looks like that there really will be an accounting of what has happened over the past year plus. I know that I will be pushing for an investigation regarding c-suite execs who were pushing the politics of Brandon despite undermining business operations. Keep all of your records legal and HR.

@2zej+1eCAF9uA appears to be a 'real pole jockey' for HR and the other de generates pushing for people to injure themselves. But then again none of them are really known for their smarts.

New York City is sinking faster every day because of their insane mandates which have destroyed many of their businesses. I know every pro-vaxxer gets humiliated any time they open their mouths in many places in North Jersey and do everything I can to help it spread. It is interesting to note that the One American Life Insurance Company's CEO has pointed out that deaths are up 40% year over year due to all causes. And of course the only variable is the vaxx.

Interesting how no one is talking about it. No one in our district is aware of what is going on at all.

Is My Employer Permitted to Ask Questions About My COVID-19 Vaccination Status, or Require That I Get Vaccinated Against COVID-19?

Can My Employer Ask About My COVID-19 Vaccination Status?
Yes. Disability discrimination is illegal so, in general, employers may not ask employees medical questions that might reveal the existence of a physical or mental disability. There are certain exceptions to this rule. Asking about an employee’s COVID-19 vaccination status is one of them. Discrimination laws do not prohibit employers from requiring all employees who physically enter the workplace to be vaccinated. It is not illegal for an employer to ask employees to provide documentation or other proof of vaccination. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued guidance the relationship between COVID-19 vaccination status and federal employment laws.

Yep... come to TX! We welcome everybody. We have a thriving economy, and no BS state mandates, No state income tax either. It's usually sunny and warm. There's plenty of BBQ, tex-mex, and beer.
Just remember.... we didn't get this way by voting ret@rd (democrat).
Don't sc--w us up.

File a law suit against CWA for no representation if anyone gets put on leave. Without a doubt they made a deal with the company because asking for medical records is illegal and they should know that.

Or it could be the id--ts at CWA National who just don’t know any better is being led around by the nose by their ultra liberal union law firm who is now feeding them very very bad information for their liberal agenda. Remember unions are a democratic strong hold and only super ultra liberal law firms represent them.

@1usx+1eCAF9uA they'll need to hire thousands and there will be a class-action lawsuit for violating privacy laws.

The company will hire the same amount of members for the one’s who are in violation of vax rules.

The union loses old crybabies but still keeps its dues

When someone would test positive in the garage we would ask the company to share who it was for the safety of others that may have been in contact.

The company responded that it was that person's personal private medical records and they could not share any personal private medical information.

I agree with the company on this....

It is my personal private medical information, and I am choosing not to share it with anyone.

CWA cut a deal with the company. When CWA needs me for their next contract? I'm cutting my deal with the company.

The next strike is for them anyway, not me, we are all but done here. The company pays $1000 per day to work during a stoppage. CWA made their deal for themselves in 2021, I'll be making my deal for myself in 2023.

CWA is dead to me.

Ok, I know for a fact as of Friday that over a thousand have not responded in Brooklyn and Queens alone...This is the truth!....an email went out to the Presidents of the locals from the National with huge numbers not responding.... so you can imagine Manhattan Bronx, Long Island, and Westchester....you are looking at a couple of thousand....are they going to put thousands or even hundreds on leave and essentially close shop? ..it is all pressure to scare you into doing something you don't have to do.

Managers are making calls pressuring techs to upload what clearly do they do not have to do

Your vaccination records are medical records and are covered under privacy laws from your company period ....What is the difference between the company asking for your blood pressure numbers or your HIV status or your sugar count?...there is no difference in medical records from vaccinations to HIV status..to your diabetes numbers ...it's all private medical information.

What's next will the company request your bank statements next year before negotiations to see if you need a raise or not?....there is no difference between your personal financial records and your personal medical records.

The real question here is not if you have to share your private information with your company but the lack of the Union to stop this harassment....The Union has been dead quiet on this from the beginning and zero guidance.... which tells me they have struck a deal for themselves.....what a shame.

Those co---e red shirts will never vote to disband the CWA. Not would the Company ever want them to. The CWA is just a tool for the Company. A tool paid for by it’s own members.

The union failed on this one by saying nothing. I remember the days you were advised you only sign your paycheck and nothing else. Union is toast, just a matter of time.
