Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Are they waiting for everyone to be positive or what?

We are understaffed anyway, and ever since some colleagues have learned that they are COVID positive, the situation is even more complicated.
However, the store is still not closed. Some stores are closed, but ours still isn't.
I don't know what they are thinking... it seems that they wouldn't close it even if no one showed up at work. Management is really awful.

No idea how anyone with less then 3 years tenure would even put up with this. Lots of OGs are making a large hourly so I get that. However if you just started in the last 1-3 years you should seek medical psychtratic help, likely you can't be saved.

Sh-t, we close for a day but we send employees to other stores to work, so the 3 people that were in the store with the covid positive person are now sent to other stores to work.....let's just keep spreading the covid!!! Can't make this sh-t up! Company cares about nothing but money right now. The health and wellness of the employees means nothing, not to mention the emotional and psychological drain we all have from working open to close with 1-2 hour wait times because we have 2 reps and one manager every day!!!! I love getting yelled at by everyone because they had to wait an hour and a half for me to order them a phone. F m l.

They won't close stores. They have an objective to keep them open at all cost. Verbatim. DM's and Directors don't care, just follow orders, how do you think they got in that position? Chugging the kool-aid
