Workday and Hire Dates

I suggest checking your electronic personal file on workday. Mine shows a 2009 hire date which is off by 14 years. (Maybe it’s the Wachovia merger date) but I submitted a request to have it changed as it’s incorrect.

If you put in 12/31/2022 for the thru date on pto, will show pto amount for entire year.

Thanks for this. I logged in and checked, and it shows my "Benefits" date as 1/1/2010 (Jan 1st AFTER the WFC/WB merger). Does that mean they are quietly reducing my benefits and/or screwing me out of 9 years of severance?

Per the workday training video it said holidays would automatically be applied so no need to put in for them like the past.

Does anyone else not have holidays? You can go to your absence balance and select 12/31/2022 to get around the actual thing. Mine shows the right PTO, Floating, Personal Holidays, and Community Service, but no Holidays. I also have 6 days of sick time that I never knew about now? When I go to the request absence screen and try to put in a request for 1/17 it won’t even let me choose holiday as the reason why.

you need to go to hr service center and submit a ticket there.

I came from an acquisition and Years of Service equals my time at WF but Continuous Service Date shows the total years including the former company. So long as they use the latter for layoff bennies, it's all good.

I have no PTO balance. I have an accrual and that is it. I see no place to submit a ticket to help them improve the process.
