Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Ignoring the competition

I wish that wasn’t the case, but unfortunately, competitors are moving forward and Intel is stagnating. In the past, this company took competition much more seriously. Now it is as if those at the top are totally indifferent, that they do not care what will happen to this company in the future. That is my opinion and it's hard for me to understand why they are ignoring the competition which is increasingly surpassing Intel?

There is a simple answer: Intel managers are more focused on their internal competition and internal politics. There is no time left over to think about the bigger picture.
