His lack of vision and leadership are the main reasons STS has been stagnant for years now. Well before covid and TDA. He lacks vision and awareness of the modern workplace and his own org. Schwab technology needs a better leader to drive change.

True leaders like Tim just simply walk on water. They don't need to tell us what water to use. If he for canneth walketh on the watereth, then you can lead a camel to water in the desert. For thou are not thee, if thee, I say ipsum lorem, magna carta.

We are trying to water the tree/roots but when we are about to pour water on them we re told the water isn't right and that we need to add salt. We walk back to the village, add salt and return to pour water on the tree. As we are about to pour water we are told to stop and that we need to make the water blue before we pour it on. We walk back to the village , grab our darkest blue food coloring and proceed back to the tree. As we are about to pour the water on the tree, you guessed it, we are walking back to the village to add more useless cr-p to our water. Leadership should stand up and say it isn’t imperative that the water is blue and salty. Salty blue water might be better but the tree is dying today and making us wait to water it for months because we have to keep walking back to the village to make some execs feel powerful is failure.
The execution fail is at the roots. The tree itself is healthy, full leaves, stemming with life. As in the tree of life. There is an old proverb we must all learn. Duty first. But not before honor. For thee shall not forsake thy leader, in times of hardship, whether CD1 cometh may or cometh goeth, thee shall not forsaken thee for thou are not. To be or not to do. That is the great question that plagues thee, for ipsum sentorium and magna carta.
The execution fail is due to poor leadership at the top. The people below are hamstrung to do the right thing because of the lack of leadership - LEADERSHIP AT THE TOP IS the PROBLEM

The execution fail is not due to the great leadership from Tim. It is because of the incapable staff failing to execute his vision. Failure never begins at the top, but is usually from the bottom up. At the roots. There is an old saying. Rotten roots lead to a dead tree, no matter how much water or sunlight you provide the leafy tree.
Tim pretty much runs everything he touches straight into the ground. I think the intentions are there but execution falls on it’s face every time. I can’t tell if Dennis is aware of that or not.
These posts are just priceless. Good laugh with my morning coffee. Keep it up, and keep it classy.
What I've heard is basically Tim runs everything but prefers to do so from the background. He makes all the important decisions. He also has been around a long time and has close connections to senior execs.
Dennis isn’t bad, he’s just scared of Tim and his minions for some strange reason. Dennis, take control of STS and get this ship righted.
Schwab needs to shake up their technology leadership; all the way to Dennis.
Simon and Tanya make an awesome pair. Legends in their own mind. The town hall was very hard to watch. Fake and shallow is how I would describe it. Too bad Schwab can't do better than having these two run technology.
I’m going to noodle on this post.
Yes, the town hall was very uninspiring today. HIs answers to questions are very contrived. It just feels like he hasn't every accomplished anything even close to what lies ahead. Maybe he will step up but it sure doesn't feel like it.
