When I applied here, I thought I would not be able to get a job because the interest was very high.
Now we have been waiting for months to replace our colleague.
The reason is certainly not that no one is talented enough to do that job, but I think that now there are not many who are interested in working here?

High performers always prefer meritocracies over “woke” corporate cultures.
Haven't been on here in a while... Verizon hire people to downvote this stuff? By hire I mean outsource the work. I've never seen so many downvote on truth being spoken.
What are you talking about? Everyone wants in this company, oh wait, you must be non union, sorry.
Don’t be a crybaby. Suck it up and get under the desk.
Why would you work there? It was the worst thing. Glad to be gone.
@2pvt almost 6 figures? Are you kidding me? I wouldn't take the job either! I am near the same pay grade as a store manager and I am way into the 6 figures. No one wants to work for less than their worth.
This is 100000 percent true. It used to be hard to get into this company, now we have jobs people aren't even applying for. We have 4 store manager positions open, and not one internal or external person has show interest in 2 of them, these are jobs that pay almost 6 figures, but nobody wants to put up with the politics, the stress, the cr-p work life balance or having no staff. Most stores in our area are running with 2 people, 3 if you're lucky. It's a sh-t show on the daily, and Verizon doesn't seem to care or know how to deal with it. They don't care that people wait 2 hrs in a store, or 2 hours on hold, the customers care, and are starting to leave, our cell service has become mediocre, but we still charge premium prices, and customers are starting to walk.
What business group do you work in?
